It’s Not Over ‘Til the Cat Lady Sings.

Speaking of SAM, I -almost- got an Askar Korazin on Thursday!

When we had enough people on and around, we went for 3 Nyzul runs and a Salvage. We only got 4 total for Nyzul, so we stuck to floor 80, with the plan to do that until we used 2hrs. First run we had was this Cerberus, with time running out quickly and Cerberus using Magma Hoplon a lot. This last one he was… hm, like, 11% or something? Maybe less, and under the 1 minute mark.

Kaeko figured that was it, we lost, Oreo pops Meikyo Shisui and kills it. WIth 30s left to lot, freakin’ Askar body drops. First time we’ve seen it too!

And Oreo wins it, after which he says he was more excited about the Brave Blade dropping, lol.

And Kaeko made it to the rune in time to get our tokens as well!

Crazy. And that whole run was me using my BRD macros for the first time as well, and forgetting the way I had decided to try and set things up this time around for gear changing and such… bleh.

After that we went to Salvage, we picked up Buri and Jun and off we go. Was longish, or felt so to me… besides just being unused to what to do anymore! We went to Arrapago, got through pretty quicky, fair amount of Alexandrite which Kaeko is collecting I guess (I’ll worry more about it when I get more prerequisites done), and killed the boss for some decent drops. :)

It was kind of a rushed thing too, we hadn’t even discussed who wanted what before going in so just went ‘Ugh, everyone lot/pass’ etc.  But ah well. Overall, it was a decent week for a welcome back.

Except I of course fell asleep very early last night and missed event!
