It’s Not Over ‘Til the Cat Lady Sings.

So, after Dynamis, and after people waking back up and whatnot, we ran some Nyzul Isle. Decided to do our first floor 100s, and farm 2 80s as well. All in all, can’t complain about how things ended up.

So the new NM system thing, where we are asked to take pictures for zeni – the NPC wanted a picture of Khimaira. We of course did not get Khimaira at all. ;)

First fight, floor 100 Cerberus. The fight was a total non-issue, though it seriously was like 2 minutes of all of us telling Kaeko to warp out (he’s discholder), etc, before he finally noticed it was at 5% and we were telling him to GTFO. :)

Can’t complain about drops!

Next was a floor 80, also a Cerberus. Again, yay droppage!

How do I look?

So that totally negates the need for the Antares Harness at all for a go-between piece for COR Quick Draw until such a time as I got this jacket.

Now to get COR to 75, which I should be able to do pretty quickly. Not this weekend, though — I’m a bit busy this weekend: birthday today (Saturday) and hopefully some sort of small event to signify that, and then going to a show tomorrow to which I got tickets for my birthday.

We also had a Hydra on Floor 100, which did not go well. We lost about five minutes on a lamp floor on the way up, but mostly what hurt us here was the fact that at 4-5%, just as Kaeko on SCH warped out, it used Pyric Bulwark, the physical shield. At the time I believe it still had Polar Bulwark up – Shuku’s nukes (RDM) all hit for 0, but later I know I cast some Banishes on BRD and they landed for ~50. We actually got the stupid thing all the way down to 1% before it used Pyric again, and we just ended up timing out. Really freakin’ bad luck. :(

And then our last floor 80, we got another Cerberus.

You can tell our priorities were very high in this fight. ;)

Hey, it got me 75 Zeni, even though Sanraku wanted Khimaira and.. I dunno, Lizards or something at the time!
