It’s Not Over ‘Til the Cat Lady Sings.

So I had like, tons of screenshots from the past two weeks I had edited and ready to go. I went to post and realized that after editing, when I highlighted all the original screenshots to delete them, I also inadvertently highlighted the folder my edited shots go into… and deleted all the edited shots. Of course, I didn’t realize this until after I’d also emptied out the recycle bin.

Oops.

However, in the last week, I’ve gathered a few screenshots from other stuff we’ve done. I’m just sad because I lost fun shots of a handful of us in level capped Promys in lolgear (we were going for a Stone Torque for Kaeko, which we got on our first run! Congrats :)) – Shuku as a half naked BLU30, me as DNC.. then more of us in LV50 gear, incl Kae borrowing my Penance Robe and looking way cute, and Oreo in Taru RSE red sweater. ;D

And there were also shots of our first (very long) Ixion fight, in which I took quite a bit of damage and didn’t die… until like well beyond the halfway point. Even took a hit for 1004 once. It’s fights like this that I laugh at the Convert HP –> MP gear reliant WHMs. Not only does my gear setup help me with my Martyrs which are usually needed on an immediate basis, but I can take a bunch of hits. :D

What other screenshots did I delete… random ZNMing: picture tours, tier 1 fights, etc. Oreo getting his Ace’s Helm! Ummm… me deleveling like 7x in Dynamis-San d’Oria as BLM (had a buffer after that Windurst some time back that was immediately taken away from me at our next run in Xarcabard, lol…)

Oh wait, I still have those.

Yeah, well, I’ve since gone and gotten about a 20k buffer (and took that long on Aerns to even get 1 HQ organ…), so hopefully that’ll last me a bit longer. I really do need to just get all my buffers maxed again, and soon. WHM is pretty low too. ._.

First things first: Numerist Pumps are only +3 hMP, not +4! It’s a mistranslate/typo in the English version of the game.

In other words, now they’re kinda pointless. Boo.

Yes, I have returned to game!

Did so on Wednesday in fact. Just in time for a Dynamis-Windurst run, since it started late because the LBers were fighting some thunderpony thing. ;P

As Kae said, gotta love coming back to game after a two week break and having the first thing you do be Dynamis. And Windurst at that. ;)

That wasn’t a horrid run though, until Teffy just wasn’t paying attention to where he was and trotted by the death house.. it just went kinda downhill from there.

Also, Onyx is currently having to borrow an account as hers got hacked:

Darya’s original WHM that he transferred off, then had to rename when he brought it back to Odin. Ashira, Arisha… this won’t be confusing at all! As someone said, stick us both in one party with Lync and Lynq and we’re golden. ;)

Also, hurrah for furniture upgrading – have yet to buy new bookshelves and further maximizing, but this is a start!

Updates, updates, oh my!

NOTE: YES, EVERYONE, THESE ENTRIES HAVE MORE THAN ONE PAGE! BE SURE TO CLICK THE “CONTINUE >>”! They’re not really any longer than posts before, I just split up trains of thought/topics by page to be more organized.

I am currently on break from the game, though I admit it is not entirely voluntary. Just short on funds this month, and opted to take a break for a while rather than scramble around trying to get back in game. It’s healthy to do once in a while. :)

Now, there are some lovely bits about this update I am very excited about, and other bits that are disappointing; but that’s typically how it goes, yes?

Definitely some good stuff to be had.

First thing: one can now reach max storage space with only four bookshelves, as they hold 20 spaces each. That in itself would open up about 9 slots for me; however, as I would like to keep my flags, I will likely do 3 bookshelves and 1 almirah for 80 slots.. that still opens about six spaces in my mog safe. That, plus the end of Mog Bonanza, will make me a very happy cat.

This is not like, a revelation.

More like every time I go to change jobs and see this:

I get angry all over again. Because of this I have to store an extra job’s gear on my alt where I had just had it set that I can keep all but NIN on Ashira.

/sigh

I also don’t understand how it is that I can’t keep 10 jobs’ worth of gear on one character like other people do. Why precisely is it that I am unable to keep as much… I may have to start tossing more of my random R/E gear, like Genbu’s Shield and Kabuto; maybe some of the lower level stuff like Minstrel’s, Shaman’s, etc. I haven’t really touched any of it in ages. Hard to just ditch some of that stuff, though.

I need to close out WHM AF quests and redo BRD and NIN; that will help somewhat, storing those. Not sure if I should just completely redo WHM so I have the gear around in case of level capped stuff… hm. May as well, I guess, now it’s just a matter of doing it. And redoing BLM means one more extra space from storing Tonban, since I’ve upgraded every other piece and tossed the feet.
